2019 - Frugal Innovation - How to do better with less
Working at the intersection of strategy, marketing and innovation, Dr Jaideep Prabhu will be talking about why frugal innovation is a way that companies can develop better products and create more value with limited resources.
In today’s cost-constrained environment, companies in the developed economies are seeking new routes to long-term business success – while also appealing to cost-conscious and environmentally-aware consumers.
With a particular interest in how firms develop solutions for low income communities and the impact of these solutions on improving lives and livelihoods – Dr Prabhu’s insight and work has been used by companies across the world to rethink the way they both approach and solve problems across the board.
Dr Prabhu is Jawaharlal Nehru Professor of Indian Business and Enterprise and Director of the Centre for India & Global Business at Judge Business School, University of Cambridge.
