2017 - Spoon Carving
After studying Arboriculture with the Royal Forestry Society and Product Design at University, Ethan James’ work began to focus on heritage crafts and British woodland culture.
Working with unusual and difficult sections of storm damaged trees, EJ uses simple tools and traditional methods to make utensils and objects for every day adventure.
EJ runs woodcarving workshops at various events as well as nearer to home in Somerset; has had products stocked worldwide in shops such as the Conran Store, is soon to be featured on two television series and recently had his first book published.
