What does hope look like?

In 2018 we commissioned one of our speakers, ethnographer, Paula Zuccotti, to create a piece of work which explored “What does hope look like?”. So we asked everyone to bring an object that, for them, represented hope.

200 people handed over their objects on Monday morning and after Paula’s explanation of her work #everythingwetouch , a piece was created. That evening it was sent to the mainland for printing.The following morning we had a 3m image, that allowed the audience to look at.

Every person was given their own print for home and keep their own piece of hope.
